In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
O my God, how many a thing concealed from me have You witnessed and eased for me its benefits, turned away from me its evil, guarded me from being unmindful of it and protected me in it without my knowledge… There is no power or might save with You, so to You belongs praise for that and Yours is the favour and the bounty. O Allah, and how many a thing concealed from me have You undertaken Yourself and directed me to the right opinion of it, Granted me acceptance of it, accomplished for me the need, strengthened (my) determination concerning it… And linked it with assistance (from You), So to You belongs Praise, O my God, in abundance, and to You belongs gratitude, O Lord of the Worlds. O Allah, bless Muhammad, the unlettered, the pleased, the well-pleasing, the good, the God-fearing, the blessed, the immaculate, the pure, the chaste, the purified, the faithful Prophet, and the family of Muhammad, the pure and good, as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim surely You are “.. Praiseworthy, All-glorious” (11:73)… O Allah, I ask You, after the forms of Your Praise and blessings on Your Prophet Muhammad and his family , to forgive me all of my sins, the former and the recent, the small and the big, the secret and the manifest, those of which I have knowledge and those I do not, those which You have numbered against me and preserved and which I myself have forgotten.
O Allah, O Allah, O Merciful, O Merciful, O Compassionate, O Compassionate, Glory be to You, O Allah, and Praise: There is no god but You, I ask forgiveness of You and turn to You. You are the depository of all complaints and the ultimate object of needs, and You commanded Your creation to pray and guaranteed them a response, Surely You are “..nigh and answer prayers” (11:61) Glory be to You, O Allah, and Praise, how Mighty is Your Name among the inhabitants of the heaven, and how praised are Your actions among the inhabitants of the earth, and how widespread is Your goodness in land and sea, Glory be to You, O Allah, and Praise, there is no god but You, I ask forgiveness of You and turn to You. You are the All-gentle, to You is made the petition; You send down the rain and ordain the sustenance, You are the Allotter of livelihood, Decreer of terms, Sustainer of mankind, Irrigator of lands, Producer of fruits, Mighty of blessings; Glory be to You, O Allah, and Praise; there is no god but You, I ask forgiveness of You and turn to You. You are the Succour and to You is made the petition: The One Who causes the rain to fall, The thunder proclaims Your praise, and the angels, in awe of You (ref 13:13) and the highest Throne and the lowest mountain and the air and what is between them and what is under the soil, the sun, the moon, the stars, the rays of light, the darkness, the light, the shade, the shadow and the heat. Glory be to You, You make the mountains move and cause the winds to blow, Glory be to You, O Allah, and Praise, there is no god but You, I ask forgiveness of You and turn to You. Glory be to You, I ask You by Your feared Name, the bearer of Your Throne and those in Your heavens and Your earth, those in the seas and the air, those in the darkness, those in the depths of the seas, those under the soil and those in between the east and the west. Glory be to You, how Mighty are You: Glory be to You, O Allah, and Praise, there is no god but You: I ask You to grant the supplication and gratitude in hardship and ease: Glory be to You, O Allah, and Praise; there is no god but You, You looked at the highest heavens and made firm its layers: Glory be to You, You looked at the mountains of the lowest earths and caused its regions to tremble; Glory be to You, and You looked at what is in the seas and its depths and what was in it became clear, Glory be to You, in fear of You and in awe of You. Glory be to You, You looked at what encompassed the east and the west and the atmosphere in between that, And it became submissive to You, abasing itself, And humbled to the Majesty of Your Noble Countenance, the Most Noble of countenances. Glory be to You, who was it that aided You when You raised the heavens and settled firmly in the Throne of Your Might? Glory be to You, who was it that was present with You when You spread the earth and stretched it, then extended it and made it as a carpet? Then who is it that can prevail over Your Power? Glory be to You, who was it that saw You when You set up the mountains, then made firm its foundations with its inhabitants, as a mercy from You to Your creation? Glory be to You, who was it that aided You when You made the seas burst forth and encompass the earth with it? Glory be to You, there is no god but You, and Praise be to You, Who is it that opposes You and overpowers You or protects himself from You or escapes from You Power? Glory be to You, O Allah, there is no god but You, Eyes weep for the heedlessness of the hearts when You are mentioned, in fear of You… Glory be to You, how excellent is Your Forbearance and how effective is Your Judgement and how good Your creation! Glory be to You, there is no god but You, and Praise be to You, who is it that attains Your Praise or is able to describe Your Essence or encompass Your Sovereignty? Glory be to You, sights are dazzled before You And hearts are filled with fear of You and trembling in fear of You. Glory be to You, O Allah, there is no god but You, and Praise be to You, how Forbearing, Just, Compassionate, Merciful. Clear in hearing and Clear in seeing are You.
