In al-K¡f¢: Narrated from Ab¢ al-°asan XE “Ab¢ al-°asan” al-Anb¡r¢ from Ab¢ ~Abdill¡h XE “Ab¢ ~Abdill¡h” D who said: The Noble Prophet XE “Holy Prophet” 9 used to praise All¡h XE “All¡h” three hundred and sixty times a day, the (same as the) number of canals in the body, saying:
Many praises be to All¡h XE “All¡h” – Lord of the Universe – in all conditions.
Also: Narrated from Ya~qub ibn Shu~aib who said: I heard Ab¡ ~Abdill¡hDsaying: The Noble Prophet XE “Noble Prophet” 9 said: Verily there are three hundred and sixty canals in the human body, out of which a hundred and eighty are flowing and a hundred and eighty are stationary. If the flowing canal becomes stationary, it does not grow and it the stationary canal begins to flow, it does not grow. And the Noble Prophet XE “Holy Prophet” 9 said:
Many praises be to All¡h XE “All¡h” in all conditions.
…three hundred and sixty times when he woke up in the morning and (again) when night fell.
From Shaykh ±£s¢ in al-Maj¡lis and al-Akhb¡r: Narrated from Sariyya ibn Ya~qub from his father, from al-®¡diq, from his fathersGin a ¦ad¢th: When the Noble Prophet XE “Holy Prophet” 9 woke up in the morning, as the sun rose, he would say:
Many good praises be to All¡h XE “All¡h” – Lord of the Universe, in all conditions.
And he would express his gratitude (to Him) three hundred and sixty times.
